A dynamic presence on the wings is set to return to Sarasota Paradise for the 2025 season.
James Maxwell, a talented winger capable of excelling on either side, will wear the Paradise colors once again this summer.
In 2024, Maxwell proved to be a key contributor to the squad’s success, showcasing his speed, skill, and versatility on the flanks. His efforts helped Paradise achieve remarkable milestones, and the team is thrilled to have him back to build on that success in the upcoming season.
Maxwell’s soccer journey has been marked by significant experiences. He spent 2023 training with Louisville City FC in the USL Championship before making his way to Purdue Fort Wayne to play Division 1 soccer that fall. Most recently, he transferred to Northern Kentucky University, where he will continue his collegiate career this spring.
Reflecting on his return to Sarasota, Maxwell shared, “I’m super excited to come back to Sarasota. I enjoyed my time here last summer, and we accomplished a lot of great things, but there is always room for more.”
