SETTING THE SCENE
Sarasota Paradise head to Wisconsin to take on Forward Madison FC on Saturday, September 12. The Paradise extended their unbeaten streak to four games last week, emerging victorious over New York Cosmos and securing a draw with Spokane Velocity. They will look to extend that streak to five against a Forward Madison team that has not lost their last 6 games.
The two teams previously met on May 2 in Sarasota, with Madison winning 3-1.
Paradise Earn Team of the Week Honors for Week 27
Defender Anderson Rosa and Goalkeeper Alex Sutton featured in the USL League One Team Of The Week for Week 27 for their impressive performances last week. Rosa scored and provided an assist for brendan Krueger’s first professional goal against the New York Cosmos on Wednesday and provided the assist at home against Spokane Velocity on Saturday, while Sutton tallied seven saves in the win over the Cosmos and another five versus Velocity.

Aaron Walker, MF – The midfielder played an instrumental part in both Paradise games last week for Paradise. Against the Cosmos, Walker completed 88% of his passes while winning 3 duels and having 5 recoveries. Versus Spokane, Walker had a 91% pass completion rate, creating a chance on offense while also making 2 clearances defensively. Against Forward Madison, look for Walker to continually be a presence at midfield making big plays on both sides of the ball to contribute to another Paradise win.
