SETTING THE SCENE
Sarasota Paradise are back in action on Saturday, September 5 at Premier Sports Campus as they host Spokane Velocity. Paradise enter this matchup on the heels of a 2-1 victory over New York Cosmos on Wednesday and riding a three-game unbeaten streak in league play. Spokane comes to Sarasota having won four out of their last five league matches and currently sit fifth in the standings.
The two teams previously faced off in Spokane on May 24, with the Velocity earning a 1-0 victory.

Declan Watters, DF – Watters was a contributor on defense in Wednesday’s win over Cosmos, registering 7 clearances as well as a block and a tackle. Ranking seventh in the league in clearances with 121, Watters will be a key piece in stopping the Velocity offense on Saturday.
