SARASOTA, Fla. — August 30, 2026 — Sarasota Paradise announced today the signing of former U.S. Men’s National Team attacker Romain Gall for the remainder of the 2026 season. Gall brings extensive experience competing at the highest levels of professional soccer in both the United States and Europe, including four seasons with Swedish top-flight powerhouse Malmö FF and experience competing in the UEFA Europa League.
At the international level, Gall represented the United States U-18 and U-20 national teams, recording four goals in four appearances with the U-18s and 13 goals in 25 appearances with the U-20s. He finished as the top scorer at the 2014–15 Concacaf U-20 Championship with five goals before earning his senior national team debut against Italy on November 20, 2018.
Gall’s most significant European experience came with Malmö FF, one of Sweden’s most successful clubs. He signed with Malmö in 2018 and spent four seasons with the club through 2022, competing in the Allsvenskan, Sweden’s top division, while also gaining experience on the European stage in the UEFA Europa League. During his time with Malmö, Gall was part of a club that regularly competed in European competitions and helped the club capture the 2022 Swedish Cup.
Prior to joining Malmö, Gall established himself in Sweden’s top flight with GIF Sundsvall, following a successful stint with third-division side Nyköpings BIS. During his European career, he also spent time on loan with Norwegian top-flight club Stabæk and Swedish side Örebro SK, giving him experience competing across multiple European leagues.
Romain Gall originally joined Paradise as a trialist, featuring in the Snowbird Derby series on July 29th. Gall started for the Paradise and contributed the first goal of the game, resulting in a 2-2 draw between the two USL League One sides.

To add a player of his caliber to our roster at this point of the season is a sign of our ambition as a club, and I am incredibly grateful to our club leadership for making this possible,” said Sarasota Paradise Head Coach Mika Elovaara. “We all got a taste of what Romain is capable of in the mid-season friendly against Portland, and I am thrilled to now have him on our official roster to help us win more games and entertain our fans.”
Gall expressed his excitement about joining Paradise and returning to competitive play.

As Paradise enters the final stretch of its inaugural professional season, Gall will look to use his European experience to help push towards the playoffs.
