Pregame Preview: Sarasota Paradise at One Knoxville SC

SETTING THE SCENE
Sarasota Paradise head to the Volunteer State this weekend for a matchup with One Knoxville SC, looking to claim three points. This is the first league game for the Paradise since July 8, following last week’s rainout of their contest with FC Naples. The Paradise will face a Knoxville team in the midst of a three-game losing streak in league play, having last won on July 15. The two sides previously faced off on April 4 at Premier Sports Campus, with Knoxville earning a 2-1 victory.
PLAYER TO WATCH
Sander Røed, MF – The Norwegian has been an instrumental part of the Paradise’s attack, appearing in 14 of the team’s games this season. Røed has scored two goals this season, including the first in club history, and is currently tied for the league lead in assists with six. With an 82% accurate pass rate, look for him to work his way into the opponent’s final third and help create chances on goal.
