Sarasota Paradise and St. Petersburg FC split the points on Saturday night, finishing 1-1 at Johnson Athletic Field.
St. Petersburg opened the scoring early, with Owen Barnett finding the net in the 20th minute. Paradise responded well, defending with composure before equalizing just before halftime to make it 1-1.
The second half saw both sides push for a winner in an open, back-and-forth contest. Paradise goalkeeper Jack Kilstrom came up big with multiple acrobatic saves to keep the game level.
Despite late chances for both teams, neither could find the breakthrough, and the game ended 1-1.
As it stands Paradise and St. Pete remain Level on points per game with Fort Lauderdale just behind. With only 2 games left in the regular season, every minute matters.
