In a game where possession dictated the tempo, Paradise delivered a commanding 3-0 win over division leaders Fort Lauderdale United at Premier Sports Campus at Lakewood Ranch.
After a slow-paced first half, Lukas Kamrath broke the deadlock in the third minute of first-half stoppage time, giving Paradise the lead heading into the break.
Jeffrey White doubled the advantage in the 61st minute, finishing off a well-placed pullback cross from Andres Freire. White was named Sunrise Irrigation Player of the Game for his relentless attacking and clutch goal.
Following the second goal, Fort Lauderdale ramped up their attacking pressure, but the Paradise defense held firm to secure a clean sheet.
In the 85th minute, Elias Khodri capitalized on a mistake by the Fort Lauderdale goalkeeper to seal the result with Sarasota’s third goal of the night.
Paradise finished the night with 50% possession, 10 total shots, and 6 on target. The team earned 4 corners and goalkeeper Jack Kilstrom recorded 5 saves to preserve the shutout.
Assistant Coach Glodi Konga praised the performance, calling it “a total performance for all phases of the game.”
Captain Enzo Panozzo echoed that sentiment, saying it was the squad’s best performance of the season.
Sarasota returns to action this Saturday at home against King’s Hammer FC – Sun City. The night’s theme is Hometown Heroes Night, a celebration of the people and businesses that make Sarasota special.
