Sarasota Paradise is thrilled to announce the signing of attacking midfielder Owen Barnett ahead of the 2025 USL League Two season, set to begin this May. Originally from Belfast, Northern Ireland, Barnett brings a wealth of experience and creativity to the midfield as the club looks to defend its South Florida Division title.
Barnett’s football journey began with the Wellington Phoenix Academy, where he spent five formative years before playing for Team Wellington and Miramar Rangers in New Zealand. He later made his mark in USL League Two with West Virginia United and South Carolina United Bantams. He currently competes at the collegiate level for Hofstra University.
