A young, new face has joined the Sarasota Paradise. Marten Brink, a goalkeeper from Stukenbrock, Germany, will become part of the squad ahead of the 2025 season.
Brink brings a wealth of international experience to the team. His soccer journey began in his hometown with FC Stukenbrock. He played one season with VfL Osnabrück in the U19 Bundesliga and spent seven seasons with SC Paderborn.
As a freshman, Brink earned a spot as an everyday starter for the Marquette Golden Eagles. Last October, Marten was named Big East Goalkeeper of the week.
When asked about his excitement for the upcoming season, Brink said, “I can’t wait to join Sarasota, have a great season, and defend the South Florida division title.”
