Sarasota Paradise is thrilled to announce Sean McGee as the organization’s new Sales Manager. Sean joins the Paradise with a wealth of experience in sports sales, fan engagement, and community-focused initiatives, bringing a fresh perspective and proven expertise to the team.
Sean comes to Sarasota from the Tampa Bay Lightning, where he spent the last year driving revenue across multiple sales verticals. As a Business Development Representative, Sean played a critical role in season ticket, group, partial plan, and premium sales, as well as selling tickets for concerts and events. His ability to engage fans and boost ticket sales extended to his work with Tampa Bay Sun FC, where he helped sell season tickets for the first women’s professional sports team in Tampa.
Before his time with the Lightning, Sean built an impressive resume as a college basketball coach at two universities. During this time, he pursued and earned a Master’s Degree in Sports Business and Entertainment Management from Manhattanville College. His passion for community-building and fan engagement began early in his career with Kingston Stockade FC, where he spent two seasons as a media intern. At Stockade, Sean honed his skills in game day operations, broadcasting, and creating a community-minded fanbase, laying the foundation for his future work in professional sports.
Sean is eager to bring his broad range of experience to Sarasota Paradise, focusing on growing ticket sales and making a lasting positive impact on the Sarasota community. He’s committed to delivering an exceptional fan experience and fostering meaningful relationships with the team’s partners and supporters.
