Sarasota, FL – Excitement is brewing in Sarasota as Felipe Rojas rejoins the Sarasota Paradise for the 2024 season. Rojas, who moved to Sarasota from Colombia at the age of five, will be playing his second season with the Paradise.
Felipe shared his joy about rejoining Sarasota Paradise, stating, “There’s something profoundly special about playing for Sarasota Paradise, the team that represents my hometown. Having the opportunity to return here after a fantastic initial season fills me with immense excitement.”
Sarasota Paradise has seen its fanbase swell over the past year, and Rojas is particularly thrilled about playing in front of both longtime supporters and newcomers. “The support from our community has always been incredible, and it’s even more remarkable now,” Rojas remarked. “I can’t wait to experience the electric atmosphere at our home games starting on June 1st. It’s going to be a memorable experience for everyone. I am also really excited to get to see all our fans at our season kick-off party next week”
After an off season training with Chattanooga FC and a stint in the US Open Cup playing against the Savannah Clovers with Brave SC, Rojas returns to Sarasota Paradise with enriched skills and fresh experiences. “This past year has been a significant phase in my playing career. Participating in the US Open Cup for a second time was a highlight, and it’s honed my abilities and sharpened my resolve to bring my best to Sarasota Paradise,” he explained.
Felipe concluded with an optimistic outlook for the upcoming season, “We have a great roster and coaches, amazing staff, and a growing group of fans supporting us as we take on Season 2, Lets go Paradise!”
