Sarasota Paradise is thrilled to welcome back hometown standout Jivan Rodriguez for the 2025 USL League Two season. After making an impact late in the 2023 campaign, Rodriguez returned to the field for Paradise this year in the U.S. Open Cup and now he’s set for a full season with the squad, bringing even more experience and leadership to the team.
Throughout his career, Jivan has taken his game to the international stage, competing in Brazil’s third division with Jacuipense, Croatia’s third division with NK Rudar, Portugal’s fourth division with Proença-a-Nova, and Spain’s fifth division with Alcantarilla. He’s also stayed sharp here in the U.S., featuring in USL League Two with The Villages SC and in the UPSL with the St. Petersburg Aztecs.
Now, he’s back on home turf, ready to represent the city where it all began. “I’m excited to represent my hometown and fight alongside my teammates this season with Paradise,” Rodriguez said. The 2025 season kicks off this May at Premier Sports Campus.
