Now that the USL 2 Season has wrapped up, some Sarasota Paradise players have returned to their respective colleges to continue their development and make their mark in the collegiate ranks. USL League 2, known for being a pre-professional league, gives top college players a chance to improve during the summer months, and this year has been no different for the talented squad at Sarasota Paradise.
One standout from the Paradise roster, JP Jordan, will now begin his journey with Louisville Men’s Soccer. Having been one of the top players to watch in the USL League 2 season, Jordan’s dynamic play and consistency have drawn attention, and expectations are high for his contributions in the upcoming collegiate season.
Meanwhile, Seth Mahlmeister returns to Purdue Fort Wayne Men’s Soccer, where he is expected to make a major impact. Mahlmeister has earned recognition as one of the Top 75 players to watch according to Top Drawer Soccer, showing just how valuable his presence on the field is. Joining Mahlmeister at Purdue Fort Wayne are James Maxwell, Andrew Hollenbach (who just earned Defensive Player of the Week honors), and Christian Leon, adding depth and experience to the squad.
Kai Tamashiro heads back to UNC Chapel Hill, poised to continue his development with one of the top soccer programs in the country. At High Point University, Roman Holt will look to build on his already successful collegiate career, while Will Pierce and Cody Read return to Fairfield University. Pierce has especially garnered attention after being named the USL 2 South Florida Division Player of the Year, an accolade that highlights his strong performance over the summer.
Emerson Nieto, has transferred Indiana Tech Men’s Soccer, bringing his talent and leadership to a new environment. Mikey Burke returns to the University of Rochester, and Jaden Berman heads back to UNC Asheville Men’s Soccer.
Ryan Sims returns to Thomas University, while Valerio Tatafiore will be suiting up for another season with New College, where he will be guided by Paradise assistant coach Glodi Konga and Goalkeeper coach Mark Macphee.
Finally, Juliano Manfro is heading back to Lindsey Wilson Soccer, Andrew Miranda to USI Men’s Soccer, and Enzo Panozzo to SMU Soccer, each player returning with invaluable experience from their summer season with Sarasota Paradise. Victor Vandenbroek will be a key figure in the midfield for Juniata College, bringing control and vision to the team.
These players, after thriving in the competitive environment of USL League 2, are now primed to shine in their respective college programs, continuing their soccer journeys with the confidence and skills they’ve gained over the summer.
