Sarasota, FL – February 29, 2024

As the 2024 season approaches, the Sarasota Paradise is thrilled to announce the return of Michael Carboni. Carboni suffered a heel injury during the first game which kept him out for the rest of the season. Despite that, he remained a leader and role model throughout the inaugural season.
Paradise Fan Base
“The most memorable part of the 2023 season to me was when Ryan ‘The Spark’ Sims scored a game-tying goal late in our last home game with over a thousand fans in the stadium,” Carboni reminisces. “The roar of that crowd when he scored was incredible and is a testament to how passionate our fanbase is in Sarasota.”
Speaking fondly of the Paradise fanbase, Carboni emphasizes the unwavering support they offer to the team. “My favorite part about the Paradise fanbase has to be how supportive they are,” he shares. “The fanbase has really taken this team in, and they’ve really rallied behind us. The Paradise Fanbase is the heart and soul of this team.”
Aspirations for 2024
Looking ahead to the 2024 season, Carboni expresses his eagerness for redemption and success. “I’m looking forward to a chance at redemption this year!” he exclaims. “Making the playoffs is no easy feat in this South Florida Division. But this team is loaded with new and returning talent, so making the playoffs is definitely in our sights this summer. I’m just excited to be a part of making that push for the playoffs!”
To prepare for the upcoming season, Carboni remains actively involved in semi-professional and professional indoor soccer. He currently plays for the Clearwater Chargers UPSL team in their Spring season and trains with the Tampa Bay Strikers Professional Indoor team, a part of the NISL league. Carboni’s dedication to honing his skills ensures that he will be in peak form when the preseason arrives for the Sarasota Paradise.
Love for Sarasota
Outside of soccer, Carboni enjoys exploring the vibrant Sarasota community, which offers a diverse range of activities and attractions. “My favorite part about the Sarasota Community is that it has so many different things to offer,” he explains. “There is something for everyone to do and experience here in Sarasota. I enjoy the beautiful Sarasota beaches, which are the true hallmark of this area.”
As Michael Carboni gears up to rejoin the Sarasota Paradise for the 2024 season, anticipation runs high among fans who eagerly await his return to the field. With his talent, determination, and the unwavering support of the Paradise fanbase, Carboni is poised to make this season one to remember.
