Sarasota Paradise is thrilled to welcome Nikola Sljivic to the squad as the team gears up for the 2025 USL League Two season kicking off this May. With deep roots in the local soccer scene and a championship-filled college career, Sljivic brings leadership, a winning mentality and relentless work ethic to the Paradise lineup.
A St. Petersburg native, Sljivic began his journey with Strictly Soccer before starring at Northeast High School, where he earned All-State honors and was named All-Star MVP. He went on to play four impactful seasons at Marshall University, helping the program earn major titles including the 2020 NCAA Division I National Championship, 2020 Conference USA title, 2022 Spring League crown and the 2023 Sun Belt regular season and tournament championships.
Sljivic finished his college career at Oral Roberts University, starting every game in his fifth year and continuing to showcase his consistency and competitive edge. He also featured for Sarasota Paradise in this year’s U.S. Open Cup, offering fans an early look at his influence on the pitch.
“Can’t wait to play in front of our amazing fans and community,” Sljivic said. “Looking forward to meeting all the players and helping the team defend the title.”
